Economic planning strategy for Changshou’s new city

For the local government in a district of Chongqing, one of the world’s fastest-growing cities, worked to create, validate and refine the city’s strategic positioning using a number of economic concepts that could be integrated into the planning for a new city of 500k-1M.

This planning effort required understanding the regional economies of an area with a population the size of Iraq’s and creating financially viable economic clusters and specific business concepts that offered potential fits with the existing business base.
