Economic analysis supporting new form based code

San Marcos, TX | USA | 2014

For the city government in the fastest growing city in the US in 2014, developed the economic logic and analysis to support a new urbanist form-based zoning code with the urban planners (Dover Kohl and Partners).

This effort required a mixture of public outreach, interviews with key public agency figures and relevant literature review to build the economic case for a walkable, dense more mixed-use development plan that was currently in place.
